Located in the in the heart of Oneroa village, The Skinny Sardine offers you the choice of sitting on the front balcony facing out over Oneroa Bay, relaxing in our casual lounge areas with a glass of wine or sitting around the table with friends for dinner.

Our goal was to create a relaxed island style venue with well priced drinks and fabulous food. The décor is light, airy and open - taking advantage of one of the best dining views over the bay.

During the day we let the sea breeze waft in and play a mix of local island music and upbeat Spanish songs. Later in the evening we dim the lights and adapt the playlist to the night – a little soul funk, a smattering of disco and a good dose of chilled out beats to relax to.

We are the only venue on Waiheke open 7 days from midday to midnight. This makes “The Skinny” the perfect choice for day time coffee and lunch, a drink after a hard day at the beach, evening dining or late night socialising.
